DELFT, 4 September 2025 – Fox Crypto, known as a leading provider of high-assurance cryptographic security solutions, will continue under the new name Sentyron. With this step, the Delft-based security company strengthens its mission to protect governments, defense, and vital infrastructure with uncompromising security solutions. With roots in Philips Crypto and a long history as part of Fox-IT, the company builds on more than twenty years of experience.
The name change follows the acquisition by Sweden’s CR Group in March 2025. In the same period, the Ministry of Defence, in coordination with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, designated Fox Crypto’s products and services as strategically important for the Dutch government. As a result, the Dutch government, through Invest-NL, has taken a priority share in the Delft-based company.
In a world of increasing digital threats, foreign interference, and state-sponsored attacks, the importance of secure and trustworthy communication has never been greater. Sentyron provides security solutions – including certified data diodes, secure mobile communications, and advanced cryptographic systems – that safeguard the continuity of critical processes and the confidentiality of sensitive information.
